As the battle ends, briefly appears, expressing displeasure at losing his final Legendary Warrior. He decides it is time to "break the seal," signaling a shift in the stakes. Meanwhile, BeoWolfmon (Koji) continues his isolated search for Duskmon in the Dark Continent.

Takuya realizes that by fusing their attacks together, they can create "brand new" data that Sakkakumon's sensors cannot recognize or counter.

Following the apparent defeat of Mercurymon in the previous episode, the group is celebrating the birth of Patamon when Sakkakumon (the Beast Spirit of Steel) is revealed to be alive and active.
