He froze. The perspective was from the ceiling corner, looking down at his door. On the screen, the door was closed. In reality, it was cracked open just an inch. He looked toward the real door, then back at the screen.
Elias didn't breathe. He watched the digital hand slowly push the door open. In his room, the real door remained still. The physical world was out of sync with the file.
